Return for fake merchandise
A buyer bought 6 different colors of preowned Hermes handkerchiefs and then requested to return them all as defective due to not being authentic Hermes merchandise. His rationale was that they were defective because they didn't have labels and don't look exactly like some he saw in a Hermes store. The brand name is woven into the fabric and shows in the photos in the listings. I refused to accept the returns since its all authentic merchandise. And I reported him for abusing Ebay policy. Ebay has ordered me to accept all the returns and closed the cases. I thought that as a Seller if I followed the rules and was honest, Ebay would have my back--but they sure don't. Is there anything I can do? This is like me buying a preowned Nike sneaker from someone and then demanding to return it because I didn't see one exactly like it at my local shoe store.

Mentor2 years agoIf you don't want to lose your item and your money, accept the return. Don't refund until the item is back.
Next REPORT the buyer for abuse of the ebay MBG.
