Return fail
Hello,
I received a defective article, and when I attempted to return it by clicking “does not fit,†eBay wanted to charge me for the return postage. Unable to navigate back, I left the page. Subsequently, I was continually redirected to the return-free page and couldn't make any changes. The only recourse was to cancel the return. However, after the cancellation, I found myself unable to take any further action. The seller seems to be taking advantage of the canceled return.
Thank you for any advice.

Mentor2 years agoUnfortunately, "does not fit" is primarily intended for clothing items, and is considered by eBay to be a "remorse" return reason.
If you had chosen "not as described" you would have been able to have the seller pay for return shipping.
You may still have some recourse through your payment method, but whether you would need to pay for shipping yourself would depend on the specific terms of your payment method.
