Return delivered to the wrong address

Question

I am the seller in this situation. The buyer opened a return and shipped the item back to me. I got a notification that the return was delivered to me today and Ebay prompted me to make the refund to the buyer. I didn't receive the return, and when I check the tracking, the package was delivered somewhere in TX. I live in PA. How can I resolve this? Thanks!

@gagavelora After checking the return addresses as @disneyshopper stated if they are correct then you might be a victim of a false return tracking scam.

You should report the buyer if they didn't use the return label you provided without altering it>

I would also contact customer service to appeal the case.

When you accepted the return, ebay provides a return shipping label to the buyer. The return address is the one you specified.
