Return and Refund issue
Ordered an item on eBay as a guest instead of my account which now I regret. The 3rd party evidently simply ordered it from Home Depot and made him a profitable little sum which is fine, I have no problem with that. I received the item with a Home Depot return form/receipt. I took the item to Home Depot to return for refund and they gave me a receipt for 2/3rds of what I paid and to be added back to the debit card used for the purchase. 2 weeks later still no credit applied. I call eBay for help and was informed that they could not intervene because I did not return the item to the 3rd party I purchased from. Could not even help me with contact information to reach the seller on eBay!!s I cannot find any info myself for this seller, only his first initial and I assume last name. I am between a rock and a hard place and would greatly appreciate any help/guidance on how I can resolve this.

I'm so sorry this happened.
Dropshipping from a retailer is not allowed on eBay. When you returned the item to Home Depot, they credited the seller's credit card, not yours. What you should have done was go through eBay returns to get your refund.
You can report the seller to eBay for dropshipping from Home Depot here:
