Return an iten purchased with a cancelled credit card
While waiting for an item to arrive, the credit card I used to purchase it was compromised, so I cancelled the card and removed it from my payment methods.
There is an issue with the item purchased so I am trying to return it, how will ebay handle the refund?

OP2 years agoI have not received the replacement card yet, and I believe I made a mistake by removing it from my account.

Mentor2 years agoWhen you cancelled the compromised card, the card company should have issued you a new card. Refunds go back to the funding source, so once the refund goes to the cancelled card, it should then be transferred to the replacement card.
