Return an item
I ordered a small item which was shipped from a California warehouse. The item was defective. I contacted the seller, and they are giving me an address in China to return the item. The shipping to China would be more than the item. This is bait and switch. I need some help.

Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
He won’t be able to send a label, so click ask us to step in when he option is available. He should send you the money to pay the return shipping - eBay will instruct him to do this. If he hasn’t send it in a few days, contact customer service - they will probably just send your refund.
To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you†- https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.
