return
So I accidentally sent the wrong item to a buyer, I did not realize it until after I denied the return, as I don't accept returns, and the buyer messaged me. Is there a way to reopen the return? I offered for them to keep the wrong item and I would send the correct one, however they are insisting I get ahold of customer service. How should I proceed?

Mentor5 months ago@the.thrift.loop The easiest way to handle this is to refund the buyer. Then if they want to buy from you again they can.
Is the return case ACTUALLY closed? What reason did they use on the return request case?
You're return policy is ONLY for buyers remorse returns, doesn't fit, changed mind, etc.
If the said that the wrong item was sent OR doesn't match pictures or description. Then you MUST accept the return before eBay steps in and forces a refund.
See if you can still issue a refund from the case>

OP5 months agoyes it will not let me change anything since they "didn't like it" so I refused the return. If she would have messaged me first it wouldn't have been a problem because I would have accepted the return. She is ok with keeping the item with no refunds, as long as I send the correct one
With her reply I'm honestly not sure what she wants me to do.

Mentor5 months agoThe only other thing you can do is go to the Sold listing and select Send Refund from the drop down menu next to the item. Reason> other. eBay will refund your sellers fees.
This SHOULD work, let me know if it doesn't.
