I received some pillow shams, and I want to return them, but I can't get any help. I am about to call my credit card and explain the situation. It keeps telling me my return was closed. I don't know what that means, and I don't get any help from ebay and the seller won't answer me. It's getting very frustrating.

Not all items are returnable - if your seller does not accept returns, then the reason for return matters. If the item was sold with no returns, you cannot return it because you don’t like the color, they don’t fit, you found a better price, reasons like that.
Since you opened a return and it is closed, I assume you used a reason like doesn’t fit and the seller does not accept returns.
Why do you want to return the item?
