Return
I had an item listed for $700. The buyer completed the purchase, but before the item was shipped, they requested a return stating they did not read the description and that the item was not what they expected. Because this was buyer error and the item was never shipped, I did not send the package.
The payment was processed, and I received $486 after eBay fees. The buyer has now requested a refund, and the system is prompting me to refund $695, which is more than I was paid.
I am willing to refund the amount I received, but I am not willing to refund more than I was paid or incur a financial loss for a buyer-error return on an unshipped item. I am requesting that this transaction be canceled as buyer error or that eBay confirm and apply a full fee credit so I am not out of pocket before I proceed with any refund.

You can not refund more than you received. Any tax or ebay fees will be refunded or credited by ebay and you can void any shipping label you may have created. Look at the return refund details again.
