Hello I just got my shoes and the looked awful. The left one looked used. So I did a refund and ask the money to be put on a gift card how do I find the gift card amount available to use on new purchase?

Just wanted to clarify that eBay does now offer buyers the option to receive their refund to a gift card instead of the original funding source. The gift card balance will remain in the buyers account and can be used on future eBay purchases.
eBay has introduced a new option for handling refunds, allowing buyers to choose between receiving the refund as an eBay gift card or back to their original payment method. This new option is presented during the return process, particularly for "buyer's remorse" returns, and eBay may suggest the gift card option, mentioning potential delays with credit card refunds (3-5 days)

Mentor1 year agoHow did you do a refund? If you just asked for a refund from he seller they can deny the refund. To guaranty a refund you needed to open an "Item not as described" case. The seller cannot deny the return and refund.

It goes back to your original payment method, but if it's declined it goes to your balance directly on Ebay and can be withdrawn anytime to a valid bank account.
