Question

I bought an item as guest, I would like to return it. Seller was not helpful, asked too many questions about why I didnâ€™t want it.

Seller stopped contacting me after I sent reasons, photos of the product showing why I didnâ€™t want it (mind you) the product has only been unboxed and repackaged in the original packing material and layout. Never used. I would just like a way to get a refund for approximately 160$. eBay motors has been highly praised by many consumers, donâ€™t let 160$ stop them from getting more.

To file a return request on an item purchased as a guest:

Find the email with the subject line starting â€œOrder Confirmedâ€.
Select View order details.
Choose Return item.
Select your reason for returning the item.
Select Next.
If you like, you can add a message for the seller and add up to 10 photos.
Select Confirm return.

If the seller does not cooperate, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you:

From your order confirmation email, go to View order details, then select Resolutions

OR

From the email you received when you opened the request, go to See request details

From the request details, simply select Ask eBay to step in and help.
