Retracting and cancelling a bid that was immediately noticed as an error.

Question

Bid 1.60 as a max payout on auction bid, it removed or never placed the decimal so my max has increased 1000%. I am sick that there is no way to cancel a bidding with an issue like this so easily done. I cannot afford the amount and I cannot stop the auto bidding…..

You can Retract the bid and REPLACE it with a correct bid per the eBay Policy link provided by @jacbarcollectibles

Bid Retraction is NOT to be used to cancel your bid, ONLY to correct a wrong bid like you made ... you have to ask the Seller to cancel your bid if you no longer want to bid on an auction but Sellers do not have to comply with that request, just so you know.
