Retracting a bid

Question

I had a bidder retract a bid with the reasoning "Seller changed description of item". This isn't true-I didn't change anything nor did the bidder ask me to cancel their bid. Do I need to do anything about this or should I just let it go? thanks

It would be better if eBay actually did anything to enforce the rule against lying to retract a bid (and change the rule to something they would actually enforce if they wanted more valid reasons) but they haven't seem to have done anything for the past decade (if they were actually enforcing it someone who got a punishment in that time would surely have complained about it here--they complain all the time about getting blocked for not paying). Most you can do is add the retractor to your Block Bidder/Buyer List so s/he doesn't do it to you again.

There is nothing that you can do, so let it go. It is better that a buyer backs out of bidding then having them not pay .
