Retracted bid
A buyer pulled back their bid after they had a back and forth bidding war bringing my item up $125. They said that I changed the product description, but I didn’t make any alterations to the ad. Is there any recourse? What do I do?

-Sadly, eBay does NOT enforce their own policy for bid retractions.
-Once a bid is placed the only thing a Seller can do is ADD an additional comment to the Description section.
-Trust me, the Buyer is lying and just this week eBay has Stopped letting Sellers see the number of bid retractions that Buyers have. I created the following last evening but have yet to hear back from eBay on whether or not this is a temporary glitch or permanent change, sadly I suspect the latter: https://community.ebay.com/forum/selling-57920/topic/no-bid-retraction-count-on-buyer-feedback-481552/
-eBay only has TWO reasons for bid retraction.
The listing was changed
They bid the wrong amount
-I have seen Buyers with HUNDREDS of bid retractions in the last 12 months.
-You can ADD that Buyer to your blocked list and move one: Buyer management | eBay

Mentor3 weeks agoOnce bidding starts, sellers cannot make any changes. However, ebay only allows a limited number of reasons for retracting a bid, so that is what the buyer selected. You can report the buyer for an invalid bid retraction:
