retract bid
It is within a few hours of bid deadline, I don't want the item any longer. It is crazy overpriced. Seller says he/she cannot cancel bid. No way to get a human rep at EBAY to cancel. Is it possibe to get a human rep to ask to cancel bid?

No, eBay cannot cancel your bid. When you place a bid, you commit to buy the item if you win. If it is crazy overpriced, why did you bid so high?
If you made an error on your bid, you can retract it for that reason and immediately rebid for the price you meant to enter. Retracting for an invalid reason however is a policy violation.
