restriction of shipping destination
I am located in Hong Kong . It has been more than a month that I am unable to purchase an eBay listing of vintage stereo amplifier, because its shipping destination is restricted to the USA only. I contacted the seller, who replied he would extend the shipping destination to include Hong Kong. A few days later, he told me he had made the change. I used the "Make Offer" box, but to see the "USA only" restriction is still there. I reported the "no change" situation to the seller. The seller said he would contact eBay. It has been a week by now and I have not heard from the seller, despite my follow-up. I have just checked to find the listing is still there. Knowing this seller usually takes a few days or more to reply, I think the seller might just be too busy, and/or getting into the right contact eBay at times could take a long time. I want to know if it is eBay's new policy due to new USA Government regulatory measures to disallow shipping vintage stereo equipment to outside-USA. Thanks
