I bought some cologne on eBay and decided it wasn’t for me. I’m trying to sell it and I get a notice that my ad was pulled for I violated selling policies on eBay. I bought the **bleep** thing on here and after almost 30 years of being on here why do they make it impossible to make contact with a real
Person? Why in the hell do you restrict something I already bought on the **bleep** double sided format. I have heard of another and I’m about done with this stupid price of (beep) that dares to suspend an item I bough on here used. Talk about 2 faced. Who in the hell writes your programming ? And who is running this company? Have a nice day and welcome to Vinted. No fees no two faced restrictions. Maybe you should write programming that treats all the same and why do you worry about copywriters when your business sells thousands of name brand items every day?

This is a public member-to-member board. eBay won't see your post.
You aren't being singled out. It's a policy violation to sell used cologne on eBay. It sounds like the original seller you purchased the item from wasn't caught (there are more than 2 billion active listings on eBay and though they are pulling listings for violations all day, every day, they missed that one).

I'm sure you wouldn't want your buyer to contract an infection or other skin issue from the bacteria that could be growing in used perfume that you sold.

OP4 months agoThank you for explaining that and I’m sorry if I came off a bit strong after thinking I was only flipping something I didn’t want. I see what you mean about maybe a possible bio hazard but then again we touch all objects we sell on here. It is a sealed bottle. Regardless I’m not trying to bend a rule and I do understand after you put it in this perspective. Thanks for your opinion and I wish you well. Peace, Terry (aka Firefyter911)
