I listed some magazines based on the same magazine already being posted and used the "have one to sell" option, but today I was informed that my account has been placed on restriction because I am selling items not allowed. I spoke to an agent to get clarification on what exactly I did wrong, and they would not answer my question or tell me anything. How is it OK for someone to sell the same product, but not Ok for me to sell it. Can anyone shed some light on what exactly is going on?

Mentor2 years agoJust because you see a listing on ebay, which may violate policy, doesn't mean you should also list that item. Perhaps the listing just wasn't caught/reported/removed before you ran across it. Was the item similar to Playboy? ebay removed the Adult category, but I believe those types of magazines can still be listed if they follow certain guidelines.
