Reserve - on a selling item
Hello, I entered a specific reserve amount on my item for sale. I see one bid on my sale and no reserve price listed. I have searched and I cannot revise this. Can I cancel my sale 4 days prior and re-enter it with my reserve price. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoIt looks like you listed with a buy it now price, not a reserve price. You can check and see if you were charged a reserve fee - it is charged at listing, 7.5% of your reserve price.
If you end your listing and not sell to the high bidder, eBay will charge you the fee as if it sold for that amount. Still, this would be less than not getting the difference form the bid to the buy it now price, so it might be a good choice.
If you end the auction, do not use a reserve when you relist - just start your auction at the lowest price you will be happy to accept. Save the 7.5% and don’t make your buyers guess at how much you want.
