Reserve listing fee
How do I get EBay to stop trying to charge my bank the reserve listing fee. I thought this was charged after you sell item. I ended my auction after 8 hours and had no bids so should not be an issue. I appreciate any insight on this.

·2 years agoBy not using a Reserve Price. By reading the information right there on the screen on the listing form (twice) about Reserve Prices instead of assuming you know:
Auction reserve price
There's a fee, which varies based on the amount entered. It applies whether or not your item sells.
A non-refundable fee will be charged at the time of listing whether the item sells or not.
Once you have ignored all that and the listing is posted, you owe the fee. Period. No matter what happens to the listing.
