Reserve fees
Hello, so I tried to see what the reserve feature was like and it charged me fees for using a reserve. I deleted the reserves after I realized how much they charge to do so, but its still showing deductions from my account. Will this fix itself? Thanks.

Mentor2 years agoReserve fees are non-refundable, so it would have been better to let the reserve stay on the listing as you were paying for it anyway.
It's also always better to skip using a reserve and just start the bidding at the least you'd be happy with if you receive just one bid.

Mentor2 years ago@colleenoquin13 The reserve price is charged the moment you list an an item. Any fee you see at the bottom of the screen when listing is charged even if the item doesn't sell and is considered not refundable, even if you remove the reserve.
Always start auctions at a price you will be happy with if you get just one bid. This way you avoid reserve price fees and also "sport bidders" that bid just to see what your reserve is and then retract their bid. This type of bid retraction is technically against eBay policy but it happens often.
You can try contacting customer service and asking if they will issue you a courtesy refund or not.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen. ( Trust me)
3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department. If the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT again. Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
