Requiring Minimum Quantity in Listing

Hi, I hope this makes sense and someone can suggest a way to do this.

I have a lot of items (mostly craft supplies) that I would like to list. The prices would be very low, but shipping cost is something I can't control. My thought is to list each item as a variation type, and somehow manipulate the shipping profile so that the cost becomes reasonable once 5 or more items are selected. I am not sure how to set this up.

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

You cannot set a minimum purchase requirement of more than 1 item.

You can set a shipping cost for the first item, then another cost for each additional item. I can see that you use this method on some of your items already.

You can then set a promotional rule for a discount for orders of x items or more. Or a maximum shipping cost for the order.

You can do this for a single listing, or you can set up a combined shipping rule and use this method across multiple listings. This combination of combined shipping, shipping for each additional and a promo rule works best with flat rate shipping.
