Require a buyer to contact me first before opening a return for wrong size, doesn’t fit.
I would like to send a label or QR. code and not have eBay punish me for wrong size doesn’t fit

< wrong size, doesn't fit >
Those are two different reasons, or can be. If, by "wrong size", you mean that the seller advertised a size 8 but sent you a size 2, that is a wrong size more accurately called a "not as described" return. In a NAD, the seller must provide a prepaid shipping label if he wants the item back. The seller can elect not to require the item to be returned, but cannot refuse the refund. On the other hand, if you choose "doesn't fit" because you received a size 8 as described, but to your delight you discover that you've lost a little around the middle and now you actually take a size 6, eBay considers "doesn't fit" as a remorse reason and the seller is able to decline the return &/or refund.

OP5 months agoI sell a lot of belts, generally people remember how small they were at one time in their life. I send out the correct sizes almost every time. If the buyer clicks on return, eBay counts that against every seller every time for 3 months, no exceptions ever (that’s punishment to me) And particularly over the Christmas Holiday when online returns averaged over 14% nationally, I consider it punishment if they click on “return” and they state in the return the bought a 34 and do I have a 36?. How do I take this my posts down, it’s not helping me or anyone?

Mentor5 months agoYou only get punished if you do not cooperate and the buyer has to ask eBay to force a refund. As long as you agree to the refund when asked eBay will not punish you.
