Requesting sellers name or email for a warranty request
I purchased a high end item 6 months ago and it's never quite worked right. I was troubleshooting with the manufacturer, and they said it's defective and they can replace it under the lifetime warranty if I provide them the name and email address it was purchased under. I've tried messaging the seller, but have received no response. Any idea how to proceed?

Unfortunately, eBay cannot force the seller to help.
It is too late to open a claim through eBay, but you can call your card issuer and see if they can open a dispute for an item not as described for you. Most cards can help for 6 months, so do this right away.
eBay can only help for 30 days, so if a purchase isn’t right, return it for a refund and make a new purchase.
