Requesting refund
Trying to get a refund for a DVD (fake-pirated), but I can't follow the process as they have removed the listing following my complaint. Tried the on-line assist, but it has an IQ of a brick, and tells me to follow the process by selecting the item I want a refund for.
eBay accept the listing was fraudulent, removed it, but won't refund...any ideas?

The whole process: start with opening a return request for an item that doesn’t match the listing. This includes items being faulty or damaged.

OP2 years agoHad to clarify, and eventually got a real on line-assist...
I notified eBay that the item was fake....took two tries, but they understood eventually
eBay Removed the Listing, so it could not be accessed in order to start a case
The auto assist kept telling me to select the item from my bought list.
BUT
My bought list could not find it, BECAUSE eBay HAD REMOVED THE LISTING
Frustration ended, as I eventually got a real person, and they have started the case for me.
There is an algorithm missing that should allow for inclusion/identification of a removed listing. One simple line of 'If/Then' base code is all it would take (in simplistic terms)

Indeed should a removed listing still be somewhere.
