Requesting funds to be released
I need to speak with someone as soon as possible about releasing my funds over $2200 is what is owed to me for out of my sold over two weeks ago. The only reason I sold this item is because I needed money not because I wanted to wait for a month to receive a payment

Mentor1 year agoEbay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

Mentor1 year ago@ch_61421 I am sorry but talking to eBay customer service will not get your funds released sooner.
As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers. AND also required when the sale is over $1k. You have two eBay policy reasons for a payment hold on this sale.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
You can see the fund holds policy on this page> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=
