Requesting feedback from buyers. Best practices?
I'm new to selling on eBay and was wondering if there was a best practice for requesting feedback from buyers who have had their items delivered. Or if for some reason that is not allowed, please advise.
Would it be acceptable after it has been delivered to contact them with some form of "Hello, thank you again for your purchase. If you have a moment, please leave honest feedback for the transaction" or similar. I assume I wouldn't want to include something like "Since I'm new I need feedback" since that is a bit manipulative perhaps. But if not, I'm open to suggestions! Thank you in advance

Mentor3 years agoNever ask for feedback. eBay sends feedback reminders, unless the buyer has turned them off. Many buyers get irritated by feedback requests and will leave you a neg or neutral for asking.
Keep leaving nice feedback for your buyers and a % of them will leave you feedback, too.
