Requesting a total for combined shipping when a coupon is active on all listings???
I have a 10% off discount storewide. I have been trying to get a buyer set up with 5 orders combined, but he gets an error msg stating that because the items already have a discount, he can't request a total. Ebay CS has given me several different answers. Some say you can't request a total with the discount in place and some say you can. It appears that the buyer has given up and that I have lost the 5 sales. Anyone know whats up with this? thx

Mentor3 years ago@wevegotawinner The CS that said you can't send an invoice because the listings have a discount already is correct.
If they have not committed to buy the items yet then what I would do is manually adjust the shipping price on the listings so that the total comes out to the discounted amount.
Change the shipping all to flat rate.
Let the buyer know you are willing to this for them before you go through the steps and give them links to the revised listings.... make sure they are online when you make the changes so someone else doesn't buy
