Requested Late shipping
Customer has requested that I ship their purchase one week later than my usual one day shipping.
This has happened before and I want to make clear to eBay I am shipping late at the customer’s request, not because I sent their package late

Let the buyer know you're required to ship within your stated handling time and explain that you'll need to cancel the order (use the reason that there is a problem with the buyer's address), and will hold the item until his return day and then relist so that he can repurchase it at that time.

OP2 years agoGreat idea. I’ve always shipped on time, and it never occurred to me that shipping late at the buyer request would impinge on my ratings.
I did reach a representative and hopefully straightened it out, too bad this issue isn’t referenced in any of eBay’s “helpâ€. Thanks so much! Andrea
