Request for Review of Misrepresented Item Condition
In October 2025, I bought two pairs of boots listed as brand new. When they arrived, one pair already showed color coming off, but I trusted the seller and did not report it at the time.
In the past three months, I have never worn them outside and only tried them on indoors fewer than 10 times. Despite this very light use, one pair’s heel is now cracking, and the other pair’s leather strap is peeling and cracking. This should not happen to new boots in such a short time.
I am concerned the seller may have sold defective goods or improperly stored old stock without clearly disclosing the true condition. Unfortunately, the refund window has passed, but I believe the item condition may have been misrepresented.
I also attempted to use eBay’s Help & Contact service, but I was unable to find a clear way to report this type of issue. I would sincerely appreciate guidance on how to formally submit this case for review, or for it to be directed to the appropriate team.

Mentor8 months agoYou only have 30 days from receipt of the item to file a returns request for Item Not as Described, so ebay cannot help you. If you paid with a credit card, you can contact the card issuer regarding a chargeback. Most credit card companies allow up to 180 days from date of receipt to file.
