Request for refund for a sale in May 2021
I have a request for a refund for a sale from May 2021. The buyer claims they never received the item. I am only able to locate sales data on ebay from Nov 2021 forward. Any ideas on how to obtain sales data from May 2021? Thank you

Mentor2 years agoYou can order a report, but it won’t show you the tracking info. I would gently tell the buyer that you have no access to the delivery information or his purchase information and will not be able to issue a refund. Which is all true - you can only refund through eBay for 90 days after the sale.
I doubt that his credit card issuer would open a dispute on a purchase from 30 months ago - most limit their assistance to around 6 months.
If you want to order the report, it takes about a week to get. Account settings >> request my eBay data.
