Request for granular control over "Seller Offers" notifications as a buyer.
How can I disable eBay offers for items I have viewed but am not watching? I find it annoying to receive unsolicited offers for items I’ve merely browsed. While I value offers for items on my Watchlist, these browsing offers feel intrusive. Is there a way to toggle these two types of offers independently? If not, is this specific distinction on the eBay roadmap? As it stands, my only option is to disable all marketing offers, which is not ideal as it kills the alerts for items I actually want to buy.

As Mentors, we view dozens of listings each day to respond to questions. What many of us do to avoid getting offers on those views, is we clear our Items Viewed screens a few times a day. That seems to work well.

OP5 months agoThank you for the feedback. While I appreciate the workaround, the current process is not an optimal solution as it requires manual effort. I hope this chat reaches the product team for future enhancements—specifically, a less intrusive way to automatically block unwanted offers.
