Request for assistance regarding new $500 listing restriction
Dear eBay Support Team,
I have been an active eBay seller since 2004 with a 100% positive feedback record and an impeccable selling history. As of August 29, 2025, I am no longer able to publish new listings with a “Buy It Now†price above USD 500, even though my current selling limits are far from being reached.
I am aware of the recently introduced restriction for international sellers regarding items above USD 500 or USD 2,500 when shipping to the United States. However, this new policy is severely affecting my business, as many of the items I normally sell exceed USD 500.
Existing listings above this amount have not been removed, but I cannot publish new ones, which creates a serious disruption in my activity.
Given my long track record, excellent performance, and commitment to eBay’s standards, I kindly request one of the following:
1. A clarification as to why I am currently restricted from listing above USD 500 despite being in good standing.
2. The possibility of being assigned an Account Manager, so I may continue to list and sell higher-value items in compliance with the new policy.
I greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter, as it directly impacts my ability to conduct business on eBay.
Best regards,
Diego Ipar
