Request for Account Reinstatement
I am writing to respectfully request the removal of the restriction on my eBay account, which has been in place for over a year.
The issue began after I listed a pair of girls’ soccer shoes that I had purchased from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Turlock, California. The shoes were never used, but due to delays, I missed the store’s return window and decided to sell them on eBay. Unfortunately, the buyer opened a case claiming I had not clearly stated that the shoes were for girls, even though this was indicated on the box label.
I believe the buyer may have misunderstood the listing and attempted to recover their money by filing the case. eBay then requested a receipt for the shoes, which I was unable to provide as it had been misplaced. Additionally, I was asked to submit receipts for all items I had sold over the past year. Most of those items were printer ink purchased wholesale from an auction market, and I do not have formal receipts for those transactions.
I understand eBay’s policies and the importance of maintaining trust on the platform. I assure you that I had no intention to mislead any buyers, and I have always tried to conduct my sales with honesty and integrity. I kindly ask that you reconsider the restriction on my account so I can resume using eBay.

Click contact us at the bottom of the page. Next Type Restricted Account in the chat box on the lower right. After the chat bot replies Type AGENT so you that you can request a call back or chat with a live agent.
