Request a refund from EBay
Had an account for more than 20 years.
Made the mistake of buying guitar cases from two sellers in China last December. they never arrived.
The automated helper says to hit the link for return, refund, ask EBay for help, in the purchase history, in order to be able to talk to an agent.
None of those links are available for the items purchased.
How do I get help?

Sorry you did not receive your items.
Ebay's Money Back Guarantee is good for 30 days from estimated date of delivery. You are past that deadline, so you cannot file a refund request.
You can file a dispute through Paypal if you used Paypal or contact your payment source.

OP2 years agoOh great, estimated delivery was March 5th and March 11th.
After more than 20 years with EBay that'll be the end for me. I have one item coming Tuesday, I'll then stick with Amazon.
I'll take this up with Chase Visa. They have always come through.
Although disappointing to hear, I really appreciate your help.

Not understanding why you are blaming this on Ebay. Ebay did nothing wrong in this situation.

OP2 years agoIf I never received the item, I would have hoped they would have helped me get a refund.
And one item has not been 30 days until the 11th, four days from now. And the link is not there to ask for help/return/refund.
The other item is 32 days.
Years ago I did a lot of business on EBay, back then this would have been taken care of. Now I don't do as much and did not know about the 30 days.
Anyway, like Chase Fraud just told me, if you did not receive the items, they can't just keep your money, but apparently EBay thinks they can.

Not being aware of the Ebay Money Back Guarantee process is not the fault of Ebay.

I would suggest you contact Ebay regarding the item that was supposed to arrive Mar. 11.

Mentor2 years ago@painter2281 I am sorry but it sounds like you waited too long for the eBay Money Back Guarantee. It's only 30 days from the LAST estimated delivery date. That's why you can't file a refund request or ask eBay to step in.
Since it's more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from the date of purchase. OR if you didn't use PayPal at checkout contact your bank or credit card to report that you didn't receive the item.

Although I purchased the two items last December, the estimated delivery date was March 5th and the other March 11th.
Guess that's what I get for being a nice guy.
I'll turn it in to Visa Fraud, they have always been good.

OP2 years agoActually 30 days past March 11 is not 30 days yet. But anyway, I was going to leave a bad review to help others, but that is not possible either it looks like.
I'll just go Chase Fraud tomorrow.
