Reporting buyer scamming
I have 2 buyers, the first buyer made an offer on an item and I accepted, when it was received buyer requested I send a more expensive item he thought he made the offer on. I offered to refund purchase price if buyer shipped it back. He refused. The second buyer buys the item the first buyer wanted me to replace his purchase with. When he receives it he says I shipped the wrong item and gave the description of the first buyers purchase. I asked for a photo of the item and the picture was the item I sent the first buyer. How do I handle this, please advise.

Mentor5 months agoIt sounds like the seller accidentally switched shipping labels. Both buyers need to file Returns Requests for Item Not as Described. The seller will provide return shipping labels. When the sellers gets the items back, s/he needs to relist both items. The buyers need to repurchase, and this time, makes sure the right item goes to the right buyer.

OP5 months agoThanks for your interest, but I am the seller and I forgot to mention items were purchased 2 week’s apart. I’m just looking to find out how to talk to someone at eBay for help.
