Reporting an unethical seller
How do I report a seller who misrepresents his/her items for sale and repeatedly lies about shipping replacements?

·2 years agoIf they never sent it in the first place then why would you think they will send another one?
If they were resending a defective item then what makes you think the replacement won't be defective?
The time it takes for the second item to arrive could put you past 30 days protection.
Repeatedly lying about reshipping is sketchy anyway because if the seller actually sent it and had proof it was sent then they would be reluctant to send another one. They would try and locate the item through the tracking.

Unfortunately, this is a common practice with many sellers located in China. Don't agree to replacements from these sellers. Always get your money back.
If you received an item that is not as described, you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
Hopefully you haven't let the deadline pass.
