Reported Counterfeit Item, but Ebay says "No Policy Violation"!!???
I purchased what turned out to be fake Seresto Dog flea and tick collars on Ebay - I called the manufacturer Elanco/Bayer and they confirmed that real items have a lot number on the package tins and do not have an expiration date, and that almost all of the ones listed on Ebay are fake imports- dozens of them are listed. I reported with pics and details including the manufacture's customer service number, nonetheless I get the message that "We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy." WHAT THE HECK?? Is Ebay making so much money off of fake sales they don't want to stop sales of items that could be DANGEROUS or potentially DEADLY to pets? After 23 years on Ebay I'm bewildered and disappointed. And still fighting to get my refund. How to escalate?? Do I even bother??
