Report CS who lied
How do I report customer service people who directly lied to me on call? Is there anyway to make certain that something is actually done? I asked a supervisor to do it, but I don't believe that she did; she just kept 'reading the script'. The call was recorded, and they lied to me directly. I sell $30K/mo here & am very close to closing my account because of lies / incompetence on eBay's behest. This issue was on a buyer return fraud which I had reported & the buyer even acknowledges on a $397 sales price.

Mentor8 months ago@toddoll Did an agent say that you didn't have to take an item back because the buyer was trying to commit fraud? Then eBay forced a refund from your account? I have heard of this happening TOO many times.
Let me know if I guessed correctly or briefly what the problem is so I can try having the community team have the call listened to by the proper dept.

OP8 months agoThanks. I spoke with a supervisor who said that the calls they recorded 'can't be listened to'. Pretty absurd to record calls that nobody can listen to. You are absolutely correct. They told me now to worry about it, and the borrower had admitted to committing fraud on the messages so they couldn't return the item. They told me that I had to wait until the next day to call back & close the return out. The fraudster opened a case before customer service opened in the morning & the automated rip the seller off system closed the case allowing them to ship the item back (even though they admitting committing fraud. When CS opened, I called and was told that there was nothing that I could do, even though they could read the messages & clearly see that the buyer committed fraud. They said that I would have to accept the item back & issue a full refund AND pay the return shipping! I hate being lied to more than anything.
