Is there an easy way to report a suspicious account?
I had an offer well over the asking price and it seemed suspicious. I received an offer last week well over asking and the buyer requested that I send a $400 gift card with the item they were buying!
I of course canceled the sale and reported the buyer immediately.
But I received an offer from the same scammer/s today. I was able to recognize the phone number that was attached to the account.
I declined the offer but from what I’ve found it does not look like eBay has an option to report an account unless you accept a buyer’s offer.
Is that truly the case? Can you not report a suspicious account without first accepting their offer?
I cannot figure out how to view offers I declined so I do not remember the account name but I do remember the phone number attached to the account.
