Cancel for nonpayment after four full days to give the "buyer" a nonpayment strike and prevent feedback from being left.
You can avoid nonpayment issues by listing for a fixed price with immediate payment required and by not making or accepting offers.
If you received an eBay message, and you are using a desktop browser and the "classic" message format, use the "Report message" link under the Action menu to report the message.
