Report a Buyer trying to scam Seller
Buyer de.g80 and hbg-s91 (same person, Bob, Bobby) bought two separate big ticket items from me. I accepted both offers and Ebay shows he paid for them, but before providing the shipping address and access to the funds, he asked me to buy a gift card (with my own money) and send him a copy of the card and the receipt for buying it. He added the cost of the gift card to his offer and also money for shipping and my trouble saying that Ebay would not release the funds without proof of the gift card. Proof of my buying the gift card would be a copy of the receipt and both sides of the card. This is a common scam where they ask you to buy the gift card on your own and include it with the order. Then they ask you to scratch off the code on the back and provide it to them. This gives them access to the $500 you paid out of your own money with no way to track them. How do I report these Ebay user IDs?
