Repaying for an item that was lost but then finally arrived

I was issued a credit for items that hadnt arrived. Two weeks later, the items in fact did arrive in the end. I wrote to the seller to ask for an invoice so I could repay them. The seller said I needed to do this via ebay. I have no idea how to go about doing this?

It is not possible to do this through eBay. Once the refund was issued eBay closes the purchase and no further action can be taken on the item. You and the seller will have to agree on a method outside of eBay to make the repayment.
