Repay a Refund
I sold an item that appeared to be lost by USPS and refunded the buyer. After almost 40 days, the item was eventually delivered. I have requested that the buyer "repay" me for the item. What is the process for doing that?

Mentor1 year agoPlease be aware that once refunded the buyer is under no obligation to repay you or send the item back to you. eBay cannot help with this as once refunded the purchase is considered closed by eBay and nothing further can be done by them. Hopefully your buyer will be honest and willing to repay you through whatever means you provide.

·1 year agoEbay does not have a formal way to handle this. You can however work with your buyer on the way which you would like to be repaid (i.e. electronic, check, PO money order, etc) and take it from there.
