Repairing my seller status
I have maybe a unique situation, had top seller status up until July 12th when I was falsely imprisoned, took 5 months to get exonerated, whe I was gone in first 2 weeks had 6 orders which turned into 6 defects, obviously a couldn't appeal them and when I was released it was 2 months over the deadline, eBay can't or won't help me out so I'm paying extra fee and limited to 250 items. It was out of my control, but I'm not crying, I can't squeeze blood from a stone, since the only way to get out of this is to sell more to lessen the percentage I guess I have to oversell what I did this time last year, as those sales will start to drop off, and make those defects increase in percentage, as the last 5 months of 2023 I had zero sales. So what I need is advice, some ideas on what I can sell for zero profit even, just anything that will sell quickly, so I can reach the numbers I need to get the defect rate down from 3.3 to under 2. Any advice would be great appreciated. Id almost consider losing money to get the sales, but I'm hoping that it won't come to that. Thank you for any help given.
Guilty until proven innocent.
Wish eBay had a bigger heart but hey, I lost primary job, Apt
Bank took back my car, lost 5 months of time never get back, but eBay did at least give me my account back, the didn't have to give me another Chance , but they did, so I'm grateful for that, it's just now I feel like I'm under the knife tp save my last source of income.

Wow...really sorry to hear that. You have a good attitude, so keep on moving forward the best you can. See if you can find some low-cost, light-weight, commonly-needed items on sale somewhere that have high demand that you can resell on eBay. I don't know how many items you need to sell to pull your metrics up, but taking a small loss may be worth it if you can't actually break even.
Good luck to you!
