Reopening a closed refund request

Question

I worked with the seller and after I used the ebay return request he worked another way around and we closed the return request. Now that process failed and I want to use the return request and I cant - its closed for that item

How do I now use the ebay return/refund request? it keeps telling me that it was closed and systematically it does not let me reopen it And of course I have no way to contact a person at ebay to resolve this ....

You don't. You had 1 chance at a case and closed it so eBay won't help you.
