Renig on auction items

I recently won a pair of J's on auction for $52 fair and square. Waited three days. The seller cancelled the order,siting that the glue was coming undone. This seller has been on eBay since 09. No way he would auction a damaged pair. Mind you that he has the same shoe same size listed 3 different prices. What can I do about this?

Nothing, but find another seller.
