removing feedback
how can I get a negative feedback removed? I cancelled a sale and the person didnotcontact me jsut left a snarky review. I have over 500 positive - 100% till now

Did you bother to message the Buyer and communicate with them BEFORE you cancelled their purchases?

You can't get that one removed. Your reply to it convinces me, though; the neg wouldn't deter me from buying from you. It's irksome, I understand that, and you feel that it was undeserved, but it is what it is, and you'll know better if there is a next time. Anyway, it's over six months old, so in less than another six months it will age out of the calculation and you'll be back to 100% again.

Your feedback doesn't qualify for removal.
There was no need for the buyer to contact you, however if you had sent an apologetic message explaining the problem with the item and asking if he still wanted it perhaps at a discount prior to cancelling, you might have avoided receiving negative feedback.
Unfortunately, far too many sellers are canceling orders and disappointing buyers for invalid reasons.

OP4 months agoI'm a very conscientious Ebayer - but I didn't think to contact the buyer. It's not a hbitual thign for me to cancel. Ihave 540 100% good reviews. But i understnad this. I wtoe tohtem anyway.

I'm sure you are a conscientious seller, but the buyer doesn't know that. That's why an apologetic and professional message to the buyer offering some sort of resolution if there is one can go a long way.
