Removing comments attached to bad feedback
Summary: texashumvee received erroneous negative feedback on eBay from a buyer who mistakenly targeted them instead of the actual seller. After exchanging harsh feedback, the buyer realized the error and had their negative comment removed, but texashumvee's response remains online. They are seeking assistance in removing their comment and express frustration over the high fees and inadequate customer service that eBay now provides, compared to when they were a seller years ago. texashumvee is reaching out for advice on how to rectify the situation.
I woke up a couple days ago to see my first BAD feedback. The buyer said that he had contacted me about a $2000 item he bought, and asked for a refund and returned the item. I never spoke with him, he never attempted to contact me, and we never had anything returned. So I responded with feedback : This is a lying SOB. We never heard from him or heard any complaint. He did not return anything! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON, unless you want this MORON to just lie and give you negative feedback for a $6000.00 complete Snap-On tool set he got for $2000 !!!!!!!!!!!!! - At any rate, he responded saying he made a mistake and accidentally gave us the bad feedback rather than the actual seller who ripped him off. He had the bad feedback removed, but my comment is still there and I want it removed. I feel bad and I over-responded, so I want to make it right as he's retired like me and it's his only income like me. I have been trying to contact Ebay and have it removed without any success. When I was a Titanium Seller 20 years ago I had my own Ebay Rep who helped me with everything (this was back when fees were around 2.5% and Ebay was a legit auction venue), now fees are over 13% and there is inadequate customer service...except for the large corporations and businesses who have nearly forced all of us mom/pop businesses out. If someone has info to help me fix this issue, I would be grateful, but if your just responding to say what a "wonderful, fair business Ebay is," please keep that to yourself.
