Removing an item
I sold an item via the local pickup method. The buyer didn't have the number or the ar code available for me to scan. They made the purchase via his home computer!!!
How do I get the item removed from my contact buyer list... the product was delivered and he was very pleased with it.

Mentor2 years agoThe buyer doesn't need an app. They get a code in his email/ebay messages.
The seller needs to use the app to scan the QR or enter the 6 digit code. You can still do that. It protects you from a buyer claiming they didn't get the item.
✓ If the buyer won't give you the 6 digit code to type in, then you can manually mark it as picked up.
You can be do this from the drop-down list to the right, here: https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
Then, if you wish, you can gently encourage your buyer to leave feedback for you. (Being too pushy can backfire.)

Mentor2 years agoIn the pull down menu next to the item select mark as shipped. If you’re using the app, go to sold items, click on that item. Click at the bottom - I’m not sure what it says on a pick up item - maybe order actions or add tracking - and select mark as shipped.
You can’t mark it delivered, just shipped, so your payment might be held longer.
